"This is a star sapphire!"
I was approached by Chandra after browsing a shop along the street,
and I started visiting his shop after buying a few rings.
One day, he showed me a sapphire with stars of light gliding across its surface.
It's apparently the "stone of happiness" in Sri Lanka, and I thought it could be called a natural work of art.
Not only this, but Chandra always says,
"Stones are created by nature, so they don't always exist.
Meeting a stone is a matter of fate," and I can truly agree with that.
They were far beyond my means, so I just had to look at them, but there was a ruby ​​that was so beautiful it made me gasp, thinking, "Is this the color of pigeon's blood?" and an aquamarine that seemed to have the color of the sea melted into it...
But nature also gave me a moonstone with a dominant blue that soothed my heart, which artisans had polished and given to me as a gift.
From faraway Sri Lanka, these first-class gemstones have passed through the hands of miners, brokers, and many others before reaching Chandra's hands.
How could this be anything other than fate?
Stones of light, as if scattered across the land where Buddha walked, are delivered from Chandra's hands to us in Japan.
Along with the fragrant Sri Lankan flowers and ruby-like tea and my desire to visit Sri Lanka one day, I am truly grateful for this connection with Chandra.
